For the followers of The Red Hand of Tiamat, I converted two GW Easterling Warriors, by swapping their heads with two I had in my bits and pieces tray. The archer would be a blonde woman and the fighter a fierce berserker with a horned helm.
Next up are the blue dragon cultists. They belong to the faction of The Cobalt Claw for the Hoard of the Dragon Queen D&D 5E adventure. They are pretty standard Games Workshop Easterling Warriors with a blue cloak.
Recently, I went through my old collection of D&D plastic miniatures. I was looking for some generic monsters and NPCs to use in my D&D game and realized that the minis themselves are quite nice, but rather poorly painted. Time to change that!
Another round of Dragon Cultists for the Hoard of the Dragon Queen D&D adventure. These guys are part of The Pale Eye, the white dragon faction within the Cult. I converted some GW Uruk-Hai miniatures for them.
Here are the first couple of finished Dragon Cultists for the Horde of the Dragon Queen. In the book, the higher ranking cultists wear black, gold and purple. These Dragonclaws are elite fighters, so they also got a litte bit of purple on them.

My group and I recently started the Hoard of the Dragon Queen, a 5th edition D&D adventure path. The PCs are facing the Cult of the Dragon, and Games Workshops Easterling Warriors proved to be ideal miniatures for the cult.

Last September, I finally got my new 5th edition Dungeons & Dragons player’s handbook. I told my friends that I would be the DM for a new campaing as soon as 5th edition hits the shelves. Let me introduce the player’s characters.
Here are the rest of the Black Orcs from the first Bones Kickstarter: The Orc Sniper (77056), Berserker (77059) and Hunter (77045). Together, they form a fierce warband of mountain orcs, threatening the peaceful hike of every adventurer!
Sorry for yet another longer break in posting new content. But I actually have quite a nice backlog of miniatures right now, so I start by posting my attempt at Reaper’s Black Orcs from the first Bones Kickstarter.
