D&D Repaint: Ogres
I’m pretty proud of these: Upgraded and repainted ogres (#025) from the the Elemental Evil miniature series from WizKids. I readjusted their poses, used green stuff and various bits to vary their appearance and armor.

Happy new year! Let’s start with a big fat troll: The Reaper Marsh Troll (77152). I got him from the Bones 2 Kickstarter and I was eager to use the miniature in my D&D game. Finally, I found the perfect use for him as Trepsin the Troll.
In Hoard of the Dragon Queen, the Bullywugs are led by Pharblex Splattergoo, a Bullywug shaman. I found the perfect miniature for him: The Bullywug Mud Lord from WizKids Savage Encounters (#8/40). He just needed a crocodile head on top.
As my players traveled the Mere of Dead Men, they finally met the other residents of the marsh: Bullywugs, helping the evil cultists. So I repainted Bullywug Thugs (Deathknell #48) and a Bloodhulk Fighter (Deathknell #46) for the tribe.
What mythical monster lurks in the swamp and would be a nice battle encounter for a whole group of adventurers? What about a five-headed hydra? I bought the Reaper Bones Hydra specifically for this encounter, and I think it turned out quite nice.
After last week’s Lizardmen I (03551), I have more miniatures of the lizardfolk tribe to show to you! They were done the same way as the others. Here are the pictures of the three miniatures from Reapers Lizardmen II (03558) set.
Delving deeper into the swamp, the adventurers encounterd a tribe of lizardfolk. Reaper has several great lizardmen miniatures, both in metal and plastic. I bought the Lizardmen I & II sets with three figures each for this tribe.
My players finally arrived at the Mere of the Dead Men, a cold saltwater marsh. The swamp is the site of an old kingdom which was overrun by an orc horde, and many souls still linger in this place. Naturally, we were in need of undead miniatures!
So my players travelled North from Baldur’s Gate and came through the Troll Claws, a group of hills infamously known for their … trolls. During one night’s rest, the caravan was attacked by several hill trolls. Surprise!

On their way from Elturel to Baldur’s Gate, my players decided to meet a circle of druids in the forest. Halfway through the forest, they found the cave of a ferocious beast and encountered a D&D classic: The owlbear!
