Bones 2 KS finally arrived!
On wednesday, my share of the Reaper Bones 2 Kickstarter arrived. Oh my god, how will I ever paint this many miniatures? There are some cool figures in the package! And there are demons. And devils. And dragons. Yay!

After helping the villagers of Greenest through a tough night, my players faced Langdedrosa Cyanwrath – a blue half-dragon champion of the Cult of the Dragon. I used Gulark, the Reptus Lord from Reaper as a miniature for him.

Here are the rest of the Black Orcs from the first Bones Kickstarter: The Orc Sniper (77056), Berserker (77059) and Hunter (77045). Together, they form a fierce warband of mountain orcs, threatening the peaceful hike of every adventurer!
Sorry for yet another longer break in posting new content. But I actually have quite a nice backlog of miniatures right now, so I start by posting my attempt at Reaper’s Black Orcs from the first Bones Kickstarter.

Three kobolds are still left. These guys were painted as some kind of “special monsters”, using unusual color themes. A bright red shaman, a purple mage and a bright blue warrior kobold. The ochre kobold on the picture is for contrast only.

More kobolds: The next three guys were painted in a yellowish D&D kobold color scheme. They are supposed to be cave dwellers and therefore have grey bases . I’m not happy with the bases, but the kobolds turned out nice.

Another set of Bones miniatures from the 2012 Kickstarter are these little, adorable kobolds. They came in a pack of 12 figures and here are the first 6 of them, painted as D&D 3.5 kobolds with woodland bases (77010).

The first miniature of a human on this blog was painted by my fiancé, while I was painting orcs next to her. For her very first miniature, she chose an old Reaper mini: The woman from mercenary spearmen (06126).
After painting the green translucent Bones, I also wanted to try the red miniatures from the “Fire It Up!” set. The Medium Fire Elemental (77083) is a nice model, but you really cannot see any details in the translucent miniature without painting it.
Finally! The last mini from the Bones “Haunts” Set from Kickstarter, I present to you: The Nightspectre (77099)! I really enjoyed painting this amazing sculpt and like how the figure turned out at the end, especially the base.
