Finally! The last mini from the Bones “Haunts” Set from Kickstarter, I present to you: The Nightspectre (77099)! I really enjoyed painting this amazing sculpt and like how the figure turned out at the end, especially the base.
Happy Halloween, everybody! The first update today is an undead classic, The Mummy. Reaper Bones’ mummy (77144) usually comes in pairs of three, but the kickstarter only included one. Maybe I will get some more mummys in the future.
Another miniature from the “Haunts” Set from Kickstarter: The green transparent plastic version of Ghostly Summons (77095) features three lady-spirits in a kind of fire/cloud on a smooth surfaced summoning circle.
It’s sunday and time for a new miniature! In the last couple of days, I finished the Grave Wraith (77097) from the Haunts Set. I had a lot of fun with this one, and tried out some new materials on the base. So here we are: Mr. Green Wraith!
The restless spirits are haunting again! Have a look at Labella DeMorney, Banshee (77096), my second mini from the Bones “Haunts” Set from Kickstarter. Looks that I can finish all five translucent plastic bones from the Haunts Set before Halloween.
Another treat in the spirit of the Halloween season! The Spirit (77098) is the first mini of the Bones “Haunts” Set from Kickstarter. All figures in this set are made of translucent green plastic and are looking really really good.
Today, I have another pair of Zombies (Reaper Product Number 77014) from the “Undead Horde” Set for you. Reaper sells them in a set of three miniatures. These are the malformed cousins of the zombies I posted last.
John from 1000 Foot General had the great idea to celebrate the Halloween season by painting spooky Bones. I totally agree and lined up all my unpainted undead Bones , and chose to start with some Zombies from the “Undead Horde” set!
It’s been a busy couple of weeks. Since the last minis I painted were skeletons, I wanted to practice some more with them. When I bought all my paints, I also bought some nice “Armoured Skeletons I” from Otherworld Miniatures. There are three classic metal miniatures in the box, and they come without a base. I wanted to try out different things with these minis: How do they look, using white primer instead of black primer? How can I make a more realistic looking base? How do I make nice looking cloth robes?
Finally, I had some time and finished my first Reaper Bones figures. So, today I’m posting the first finished figures: 6 skeletons from the Bones Undead Horde Set. Sadly, I didn’t take pictures in between for every step.
